Description

Summary:

NIBC is looking for an Analyst/ Junior IT Finance Specialist in our Information Technology (IT) department!

Are you an innovative and future-oriented IT Financial Specialist? Autonomous but constructive? Then you are perfectly at your place at NIBC, where your analyses and advice help the IT organization and Business move forward.

Why would you want to work for NIBC’s IT Business Control?

IT Business Control is one of the new disciplines within our Information Technology (IT) department. As the IT department plays a central role in the future developments of the bank, controlling the available budgets and expenses is essential. From here, insight must be provided into the use of financial means, so that (senior) management can make balanced choices about priorities. You will play a central role between Business, IT and Finance!

What will you do?

As a junior IT Business Controller you will have an important contribution to the further implementation and development of the IT Business Control discipline. Your sharp eye on analyzing (financial) data must lead to valuable reporting for (senior) management. These reports must, on the one hand, provide insight into current spending and, on the other, be important input for drawing up business cases, from which decisions can be made in IT spending of the future. You are also closely involved in the elaboration of the annual budget processes and you have substantive coordination with the Vendor Managers about contracts and invoicing.

Who are we looking for?

In order to help build the bank's digital future and the efficient use of financial resources, we are looking for an analytical, self-starting and communicative IT Financial Specialist. You must be able to help build the bridges between Business, IT and Finance. That means that you work on operational, tactical and strategic activities. You are driven to delve into financing IT within a Bank!

What will you need?

  • Bachelor or Master's degree, preferably in a financial related discipline

  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience

  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills

  • High level of ambition

  • Committed, determined and sharp personality

  • Result oriented; "getting things done" mentality

  • Self-starting and flexible team player

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication; fluent in Dutch and English

What will you get?

NIBC is an enterprising bank focused on our clients’ most decisive financial moments. We share a forward-thinking, can-do attitude with our clients, which we call our THINK YES mentality.

Being part of the IT Business Control team provides you substantial responsibilities, direct exposure to various (business) stakeholders and enable you to develop your ambitions in a control function within a financial institution. Furthermore we nurture our entrepreneurial and inventive culture by providing modern flexible devices and working spaces. You can therefore work where and when you want which improves your performance and work-life balance.
