MAC Society: Controlling Evening

Date:  Monday, March 2, 2020

“If you only develop professionally as a young financial, you will not get far. Then your career stagnates mid-career. You should actually start to develop broader skills right after your studies. Only then can you continue to grow. In a large organization, there are many opportunities for controllers to take on major responsibility.”
- René Oudejans, former CFO of Gasunie

The world is becoming increasingly complex and is changing faster and faster. Large employers are therefore increasingly in need of controllers that can connect heads and hearts. People who are not only experts in their field, but can also advise effectively on more than just numbers based on their professional knowledge. In fact, the controller that does not make this move will become superfluous through automation and robotization. We are on the eve of the transformation of the controller profession.

Under the guidance of Jerryt van den Born of the Zuiderlicht, an organization consultancy firm, you will discover your strengths, get to know your own talents and use them for personal and business success. This way you are better prepared for the upcoming application process and you can convince employers about your added value to the organization. During this evening, professionals from the field will be present such as Ad van Beilen, Director Compliance & Control ad interim at Noorderpoort & Senior Manager Advisory at KPMG.

The controlling evening will take place on Monday evening the 2nd of March from 18:00 to 21:30. During the walk-in there will be a buffet ready and afterwards we will finish with some drinks.
